The route goes through Amarante to Pinhão, with a boat trip and quinta tasting added only on Wine & River.

The 10 hour day allows an hour in Amarante and two hours for your lunch stop. Each drive between Porto and the valley is scheduled for 90 minutes, with return to your pickup address.

Take Scenic if you want Amarante and river views without scheduled wine activities. Allow 10 hours for the day. It suits a group content to choose lunch separately; use Wine & River when the tasting and boat matter.

For Casal de Loivos, Endless Weekend costs from €81 per person in a group of 7. Book Living Tours' private half day for the shorter tasting and boat programme, from €108.75 per person in a group of 8. Neither includes lunch.
