The day starts with the drive from Porto and a boat trip before three estate visits in the Douro.

   Your driver collects you for the journey into the valley, with homemade snacks and drinks in the van.

   Pinhão 1 h

   The rabelo takes you past terraced vineyards, with regional wines and homemade food served on board.

   D'Origem 1 h

   Visit the old olive press to learn about oil extraction, then taste the estate’s olive oils with regional wines.

   Casal de Loivos viewpoint 30 min

   From the viewpoint, you look across Pinhão and the river towards Quinta das Carvalhas. Port and snacks are served here.

   São Cristóvão do Douro viewpoint 15 min

   This stop gives you time for photographs above the river and vineyard terraces before lunch.

   Casa do Bucheiro 2 h

   You explore the stone cellars and underground wine tunnel before tasting aged wines. Lunch follows with wines from the estate.

   Quinta da Pedra Alta 2 h

   A private Jeep takes you through the lower and upper vineyards before you meet the winemaker. Finish with a tasting of five wines.

   Porto 90 min

   Your driver takes you back to your hotel or another arranged location in Porto.

Allow 90 minutes for each drive between Porto and the valley. The visits to Casa do Bucheiro and Quinta da Pedra Alta take 2 hours each. The return is to your hotel in Porto.

Wear comfortable shoes for the estate visits and bring a camera for the viewpoints.

For a shared day with garden lunch, Ennetours costs from €138 per adult; solo bookings are excluded. If you want a customisable private route, MaiaTours costs from €530 per vehicle for up to 2; lunch costs extra.
