After the boat trip, you follow vineyard tracks around Pinhão before continuing to Favaios and the Tua Valley.

   Around Pinhão, you follow tracks through private vineyards. Your guide explains the vines and how they grow.

   Favaios is a wine village. The visit focuses on its history and its place in the Douro's wine production.

   Continue into the nearby Tua Valley for a change from the vineyard sections of the route.

The Pinhão section takes two hours; each of the other stops has one hour. You return to the meeting point after six to eight hours.
